Note on indexing in Clarivate's Web of Science & Journal Citation Report

In recent years, the JFR has undergone some profound changes, which partly affected the indexing in the Web of Science and the Journal Citation Report. Articles published prior to 2019 are indexed under the Journals old name "Zeitschrift für Familienforschung". Due to the publisher and title change and related technical issues, the JFR does not appear in the Journal Citation Reports 2021 under its new title, while we still can be found under our "old" title "Zeitschrift für Familienforschung" . However, the JFR is still fully indexed in Web of Science (Core Collection, SSCI) and will reappear under its new title in the  Journal Citation Reports 2022. We are convinced that the recent changes at the JFR are contributing to the journal's quality, visibility, and reputation and we invite family scholars to be part of this successful process. The Figure shown below summarizes the journal's recent history and indicates the promising upward trend caused by new publishing strategy of the JFR.
