The Journal of Family Research is proud to launch its new online submission platform.
As of 2020, the Journal of Family Research is going to succeed “Zeitschrift für Familienforschung | Journal of Family Research.” Building on 30 years of experience, we then offer high quality research in the field on family and population studies Open Access.
All manuscripts that have been published in the journal, from 1989 to 2019 and ongoing, will be available online and free of charge. We no longer offer printed copies of the journal. - Currently, we are continuously filling our Archive on this platform. Until we are finished, all manuscripts will be available from “Social Science Open Access Repository.” Between October 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019, most manuscripts of the latest six issues of JFR are restricted by an embargo of "Barbara Budrich Publishers" - these manuscripts will be made available in early January 2020.
Should you wish to buy printed copies of the previous journal issues (issue 3/2019, which will be published in December 2019, or earlier), please contact “Barbara Budrich Publishers.”
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our previous publishing house, “Barbara Budrich Publishers,” our previous publisher, Edmund Budrich, as well as our previous layout specialist, Beate Glaubitz, for their exceptional commitment to the Journal. Without them, the Journal would not be where it is now.
From now on, we welcome your submissions to JFR through our new submission system (submit your paper here).
